Change of address/ Move from Norway

Any changes of address must be registered with the National Population Register (Norw. Folkeregister). It is important to ensure that the Norwegian authorities possess up-to-date data, so that there is no problem with the correspondence flow. Changes need to be made in the following situations:

relocating outside of Norway (e.g. when returning to the country of origin)
change of address in Norway within a municipality or between municipalities
change of address for correspondence (e.g. when correspondence cannot be delivered)
